Mumbai City will begin their 2025-26 season with the sixth edition of the AIFF Super Cup, scheduled to take place in Goa, with Head Coach Petr Kratky leading a 24-member squad. The tournament features 16 teams divided into four groups, providing the Islanders a platform to regroup, learn, and showcase their ambitions.

The squad features a strong group of players who bring together experience, skill, and teamwork - Lallianzuala Chhangte, Valpuia, Vikram Partap Singh, and Brandon Fernandes, who were recently called up to the Indian national team, add valuable quality and leadership to the side. Their presence will be important in guiding the team through the challenges of the competition.

As part of Mumbai City’s continued commitment to developing Indian talent, the Super Cup will serve as a valuable platform for the club’s young players to gain competitive experience - Franklin Nazareth, Gyamar Nikum, and Ayush Chhikara, among others, will look to build on their progress within the first-team. The squad also includes six new domestic additions - Bijay Chhetri, Dhruv Alva, Zothanpuia (Puipuia), Lalnuntluanga (Tluanga), Amandeep, and academy graduate Aadil Sheikh, who recently signed his first professional contract with the club.

The Islanders will also be strengthened by the return of Akash Mishra, back on the pitch after a lengthy spell on the sidelines, and the inclusion of Jorge Pereyra Díaz, who returns to action for Mumbai City. Alongside international teammates Tiri (Rubio), Jon Toral, and Jorge Ortiz, the squad combines balance, depth, and valuable experience as the Islanders prepare for a competitive start to the new season.

Mumbai City have been placed in Group D, alongside Kerala Blasters FC, Sporting Club Delhi, and Rajasthan United FC. The Islanders will open their Super Cup campaign against Sporting Club Delhi on October 27 at the JLN Stadium, Fatorda in Goa, with the match set to kick off at 7:30 PM IST.
