Mumbai City FC have today announced their squad for the 2019 Hero Super Cup and in a significant first, have called up defender Mohammed Kaif Khan and midfielder Nakul Shelke to the First Team from the Islanders’ u18 side.

The Islanders will take on fellow Hero ISL side Chennaiyin FC on March 29 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar at 8.30pm in what will be the opening game of the Round of 16 of the knockout tournament.

The duo of Khan and Shelke have been handed the number 34 and 38 shirts and will be on the flight to Odisha’s capital city along with the rest of the first team.

Defenders: Sanjay Balmuchu, Anwar Ali, Joyner Lourenco, Subhasish Bose, Lucian Goian, Souvik Chakrabarti, Md Kaif Khan.

Midfielders: Milan Singh, Md Rafique, Raynier Fernandes, Sanju Pradhan, Vignesh D, Sehnaj Singh, Bipin Singh, Nakul Shelke.
