Mumbai City are delighted to confirm that Raynier Fernandes has put pen to paper on a three-year contract extension, extending his stay with the Islanders until May 2023.


The Dadar-born midfielder plied his trade with Air India and Mohun Bagan before making the switch to his hometown club in the summer of 2018. In his two seasons with the Islanders, Raynier has gone on to become a fan favorite, making 34 appearances for the Club notching up 3 goals and 3 assists.


Raynier Fernandes said: “This is my home. I am grateful to the Club for giving me the opportunity to play for my city and now to stay on for the coming years and prove myself. I’ve been fortunate to learn so much and be surrounded with fantastic people here. I believe we have a lot more to achieve and I hope we can create some great memories together here at Mumbai City.
